School of Psychology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Holds Socialization on SIPP Renewal via SIAP HIMPSI
The Undergraduate Psychology Study Program (PSSP), Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is currently preparing to establish the Professional Psychology Study Program as a strategic step to expand its academic and professional contributions in the field of psychology. One of the key requirements in this establishment process is the availability of faculty members holding a Psychologist degree with an active Psychologist Practice License (SIPP).
As part of fulfilling this requirement, the Psychology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, organized a socialization and assistance session on the renewal of SIPP through the SIAP HIMPSI system. This activity was motivated by the implementation of the new online SIPP renewal system via SIAP HIMPSI, which has been officially launched since May 1, 2024. As a relatively new system, many psychology practitioners and lecturers still need a deeper understanding of its mechanisms and regulations.
During the session, lecturers holding a Psychologist degree received direct explanations regarding the latest rules, procedures, and system features for the SIPP renewal process. The presentation covered key aspects such as administrative requirements, uploading supporting documents, and the verification process conducted by HIMPSI.
In addition to the presentation, the activity also included a hands-on assistance session facilitated by an experienced resource person, Putu Widiastiti Giri, M.Psi., Psychologist from HIMPSI Bali Chapter. During this session, lecturers practiced each step of the SIPP renewal process using their respective SIAP accounts. The purpose of this assistance was to ensure that each lecturer fully understood and successfully renewed their SIPP independently in accordance with the latest regulations.
Through this activity, the Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, aims to strengthen the readiness of its faculty resources in preparation for the opening of the Professional Psychology Study Program, while also supporting professionalism and the legality of psychological practice within academic and community settings.
